Common symptoms of headaches and migraines include pain in the front, top or sides of the head. The pain is often described as pounding or throbbing. Occasionally related symptoms, including aura, nausea and vomiting can occur, and some people have triggers or can be affected by light, noise or smells.


What are the traditional treatments for headaches and migraines?

Traditional treatment for headache and migraines often initially include over the counter medication, such as aspirin, ibuprofen (Advil), or acetaminophen (Tylenol). You may have been prescribed prescription medications, to try and stop your headache or migraine. Many people find themselves laying down in dark, quite room to help with the pain.
